Dez Deshaies is a writer, game designer, and youth advocate from Chicago, IL. His writing has appeared in Foglifter, The Heartland Review, Menacing Hedge, and elsewhere. His multimedia/games work has been exhibited at the Adler Planetarium and the Orlando Museum of Art.

He is currently at work on a novel about boy bands in the early '00s. He has an Sc.B. in Engineering from Brown University and a MFA in Creative Writing from a state school in Florida.
