Dez Deshaies is a writer, game designer,  and youth advocate from Chicago, IL. His writing has appeared in Foglifter, The Heartland Review, Menacing Hedge, and elsewhere. His multimedia/games work has been exhibited at the Adler Planetarium and the Orlando Museum of Art.

Outside of his work, Deshaies destroys his ankles playing soccer and his ears going to pop shows. He has an Sc.B. in Engineering from Brown University and a MFA in Creative Writing from a state school in Florida.
